My client is a leading UK engineering consultancy with a offices throughout the Middle East. They are currently looking for a surface water drainage design engineer for their office in Qatar. The role will involve management and review of clients projects including major capital investment schemes, review and approval of drainage proposals, provide advice on drainage proposals received from consultants, carrying out minor elements of drainage design. You will be required to investigate flooding complaints and develop solutions and also to develop and promote the clients policies regarding major issues such as sustainable drainage. Candidates must have a university degree or equivalent and be a fully chartered engineer. You must have in-depth knowledge of water, sewerage and drainage design including demand loadings, design parameters, computer modelling and pipeline routing. Candidates must be competent in using modelling software such as EPANET, WATERCAD, SEWERCAD and INFOCAD and be able to carry out infrastructure design using AutoCAD civils 3D. You must be familiar with British, American and International design standards.Candidates must have a university degree or equivalent and be a fully chartered engineer.
